As a pool owner, there was nothing more frustrating than having a leak in my pool. The first thoughts I had were:

1) Where is the leak coming from and how would I possibly find it?

2) What kind of destruction to my pool and deck would have to occur in order to fix it?

3) Where would I find an honest, capable and thorough person to handle finding and repairing my leak issues?

4) Expense? What would this whole process end up costing me?

These were all genuine concerns I had as a pool owner prior to having my own pool company. I have been there and can proudly say I have proudly created the perfect leak detection service for all pool owners.

Unlike some other leak detection companies, all we focus on is POOL leak detection and we have made the process painless for you!

DETECTING SWIMMING POOL LEAKS

Your pool will naturally lose some water to evaporation, some to splash out and some to backwash waste-water. You may also gain water from rainfall. Our rule of thumb is, if you’ve lost more than 1/4-inch during a 24 hour period, you’ll need to perform a pool leak detection procedure and apply pool leak repair methods to address any leaks in skimmers, return lines, lights and drains and/or cracks in the pool masonry.

Pools are meant to be watertight, of course, but sealants will deteriorate, while other parts of your pool shift and settle, or just plain wear out. Pools can leak through any of the fittings or accessories, plumbing or even right through the shell. It is important to repair pool leaks, not only to save water, heat and chemicals, but also to prevent undermining pool structural components, and washing away fill dirt.

SWIMMING POOL LEAK “WARNING SIGNS”

Whether you currently have a swimming pool leak or not, as a responsible swimming pool owner you should always be aware of the signs of a possible leak problem. Below are some indicators that you might have leak problem.

If you are loosing more than an 1/8″ in 24 hours, you may have a leak problem.

Do you see you algae build-up, but you have recently chemically treated your pool? If so, you may have a leak!

Do you have loose or fallen tiles from your swimming pools surface? How about cracks in your pools deck? If so, you may have a leak.

If you have a mushy ground, standing water or uneven grass growth around the swimming pool, this may be a result of your automatic filter constantly releasing water.

Cracks in the pools shell should also be repaired immediately.

Bubbles in the pump can also be a result of a leak in the main drains and skimmers. Leaks in the main drains should be immediately repaired. They can be detrimental to your swimming pool and life-threatening to your beloved swimmers.
